Malacopedia is an exclusively digital journal devoted to divulgation of scientific information and curiosities on any member or taxon of the Phylum Mollusca. It is open access and has no commercial purpose.

Malacopedia is relatively informal and has not the strict rules of a scientific journal, despite in maintaining strict scientific rigor in all information. The papers are richly illustrated, the text is limited to the essential, and there is the possibility to be correct or complemented further, as well as the paper
